Hot & Cold Beverages

For each recipe, the ingredients are listed below the icon: simply blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender (NOT a food processor) until completely smooth. Heated beverages obviously must be subsequently warmed for serving.

Immune Shot

1 lemon, peeled

1/2 inch of fresh ginger, peeled

1 large clove of garlic

1/2 TBS of honey

2 TBS of water

Blend in high-speed blender until smooth. Drink immediately.

Motility Shot (Digestive)

1 lemon, peeled

1/2 inch of fresh ginger, peeled

1 tsp of honey

2 TBS of water

Blend in high-speed blender until smooth. Drink immediately.

Golden Milk

To make 1 cup of golden milk:

1/2 cup non-dairy milk, unsweetened

1/2 cup water

1/2 tsp golden milk (see recipe below)

2 tsp maple syrup

Recipe for 1 container of golden milk powder:

4 TBS ground organic turmeric

2 tsp ground ginger powder

1 TBS ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground black pepper

1/8 tsp ground nutmeg powder

1/8 tsp ground clove powder

Hot Chocolate

1/2 cup of non-dairy milk, unsweetened

1/2 cup of water

1 tsp unsweetened organic cocoa powder

1 TBS maple syrup

optional: 1/4 tsp organic maca root powder

Blend all ingredients in blender until smooth and frothy. Heat on low heat. Pour carefully into mug and include the foam the forms during the heating process.

Detox Green Smoothie

2 cups of organic kale, beet or dandelion greens.

1/2 cup organic watercress

1 cup frozen berries

1/2 of a frozen banana or 1/4 cup frozen organic pineapple

1-2 TBS hemp seeds or other raw seed

optional: 20-30 g unsweetened, unflavored protein powder

optional add-ins: spirulina or other seaweed, maca root powder, mint or basil, greens powder

10-16oz of water, depending on desired consistency
